About Me

My name is Jordan Rehrer and I love to snowboard. I have spent countless days in pursuit of the thrill that only being on my board brings me. I have been blessed to be able to make this pursuit my life. Together with my wife Sasha, I travel the world and am loving every second of it. Some of the People that make this possible are Revolution MFG, Demon Snow, Smith and Skull Candy.

Long time

First off, the lap top was down and not working so that is why I haven't updated with anything lately. I will be posting photos and stuff on here from the NZ season and will be regularly doing it this Northern Hemisphere season. The season was fun but had some rough moments. I chipped a bone in my left ankle and took a bit of time to recover from. We had some good road trips and good slushy spring days. Check bag soon and regularly from now on.

Much love, Jordan

Winter Games and what not

Here are a few photos from some photo shoots and some comps. The first few photos was a rail comp early July up at Coronet Peak. We are having the 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games here. It's the biggest winter sporting event outside the Olympics. So I through a few photos in from the Slopestyle at The Remarkables. I ended up taking 4th place. The Big Air is coming up at Coronet Peak on Sunday. The last few days the weather hasn't been the greatest so I have had a few days off. Last week was really good though and hopefully starting Sunday it's supposed to get good. Check out Australia New Zealand Snowboarding for some photos of mine in the July Issue. I did compete in the New Zealand Open and was in the Semi-Finals but didn't get through to the finals. It was a very good comp and some video games stuff went down in the Finals. It was pretty cool to be involved in the heaviest Slopestyle comp anywhere ever. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and hopefully we will get tons of photos and footage done. Continue to check out Diaries Down Under the webisode series on multiply sites; twsnow.com and nzsnowboard.com are the best ones. Here's the latest one http://snowboarding.transworld.net/2009/08/14/diaries-down-under-coronet-peak/

I hope all is well and good. Enjoy the photos!!!

What a POST!

The captions are all are all switched up but I got to let one of our flatmates use the Internet with the cable. We only have one cable right now and our wireless is not working. Much much love.

It's been a super busy and fun season so far and August is just around the corner. Which means comps and lots of good stuff going on. The parks are good and it's even snowing at the moment. So at least to say it's ON! Here's a bunch of photos that have been taken throughout the year.

Everyone keeps saying Hyne and I look like brothers and some people are shocked when they find out one of my best men was not my brother.

We had a preseason session up at Coronet Peak and it was super fun day. Jeremy Thorns took some photos that were used in Australia and New Zealand Snowboarding. Jimmy Edward took these photos.

First Day of NZ season May 14th!!!

So one hemisphere to the other. We have been getting rain here in Queenstown and mostly snow in the mountains. One of the sister resorts Mt. Hutt is opening on May 28th. We went and had a play up at the Remarkables which was heaps of fun. Hopefully we will be going back up these next upcoming days. Hopefully build a jump if there is enough snow. I'm so excited for this upcoming season. New Zealand is supposed to have one of the best years for snow. So all we can do is hope and pray.

I love it here in New Zealand so much. It is so beautiful and peaceful here. I'm just been hanging out with my new bride and be waiting for the season to start. I'm trying to stay busy playing tennis and working out. We have a lot of big things planned for the year so hopefully everything works out.

End of Season

So lately I have been staying home and riding Park City mostly. I have got a few days in at The Canyons and Snowbird. It's been way fun everywhere with all the snow and fun parks to ride. I have been taking photos and getting a few things done. I can't use some of them but they are on my profile on facebook. Go check them out because some of them are the best ones I got of the year. These photos were taken by Tannar Mills or Marcus Patterson. I have been filming with Parker Cross for Wasatch the Official Production Podcast and it's been way fun. Go peep it out on itunes, vimeo, youtube, snowboardmill, or http://crossroadstudios.com So you can for sure check out all the footage.

We went on a big ol road trip back to Sierra, then Mt. Bachelor, and to finish things off Grand Targee. It was lots of driving but loads of fun. Parker Cross took these photos.

Pow

Here are some photos from riding some deep snow here in Utah. It was a super good day. The photos are from Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Such a deep snow day. They just opened a new area outside the gates at Snowbird.

Some more pow to slash through

Front 3 Indy. As you can see I don't have my goggles over my eyes. It was so hot and sweaty. My goggles kept fogging up. I couldn't really spot my landing it was all by feel. Worse than a flat light day.

Here is a link to the footage of the photos. http://www.vimeo.com/3249407
I did hurt my knee while I was in Colorado but now it feels way better. It was a good thing that we had so much snow to ride to take it easy on my knee. We are going on a few trips and should be getting a lot of stuff; if everything works out all right. This is the best part of this coming up. We are in the flow of everything and there is tons of season left with great conditions.

Sorry about the post below. The captions are on the wrong photos.

Finally some new Photos

I have doing tons of traveling this year and it's been crazy. Here are some photos when I went to Aspen for the Aspen Open. We only took a few photos which bums me out because it was way fun except that me and Browner both got hurt. It was fun seeing our friend Karl and going to Colorado.

We should be going back to Aspen sometime in March. There is a super good scene there and they have 4 mountains to ride. The Aspen Open was on the X-Games course and it was Stunt man's course. So the people that threw down in both comps, mad respect and props.
This past week of snowboarding was the best of the season and there should be some really good footage and photos coming in the mean time you can check out these links;
