About Me

My name is Jordan Rehrer and I love to snowboard. I have spent countless days in pursuit of the thrill that only being on my board brings me. I have been blessed to be able to make this pursuit my life. Together with my wife Sasha, I travel the world and am loving every second of it. Some of the People that make this possible are Revolution MFG, Demon Snow, Smith and Skull Candy.

Pics and broken pelvis

Things are going well down here in New Zealand. I'm pretty much to full recovery from my injury. I will be home in less then 2 weeks. I'm excited for the upcoming season and it looks like it will be busy and very fun. Sasha will be coming over for 3 months and then will be back to Christchurch, New Zealand to study. In May she will come back to the States or I will come back to New Zealand. I'm still might study but only online and just a few credits. Everything is full on and busy with snowboarding. Remember to leave comment because if not I feel like I'm wasting my time with this.

Up at Coronet Peak with the crew. Bugz, Browner, Hyne, Me, and Dutty. Such a fun day. Fresh snow and a free cat ride up. You can check out the footage at reasonfilms.net under Diaries Down Under 6. We got to ride the lift twice after the resort was closed.

Dutty aka Karl Dunham with the amazing view in the background.

Me and Ben at the hospital. Ben is the guy I share a room with and I'm good friend with.

Sasha and me outside my house

Sasha and me outside her house

Nick Hyne, his mum - Lyne, Browner, Liv, me, and Karl at Bathhouse, where Sasha works, for Hyne's birthday desert.

Me at Bluff Point. It is the most southern part of the South Island of New Zealand . This is a famous landmark down here.

The View without me

First real cliff after the mission that I hit with back pack and all

Old photo of a Backside 50-50 in Arrowtown. This was a week after snowboarding down here on the Winter Wonderland Day.

Backside 5 Indy at the Cardrona Big Air. I sort look like I'm part of the lift.

I like these photos a lot. Jeremy Thorns took all of them and did a great job. I'm healing good and can snowboard again. If I fall it could be bad news but I'm taking it easy. It rained the last few days so a lot of snow has melted. So Sasha and I are going to go tour the South Island and check out more of New Zealand. Most of the resorts are going to leave stuff up so we can go film and do some more photo shoots; so I look forward to some BBQ's with some spring weather. I'm excited with life and to ride some deep snow it Utah when I get back. Plus I get to come and visit you all. Much love, Jordan

Old Stuff, oh this where the title is

The first few photos are from the Coronet Rail Jam event were I won best trick and Hyne won best overall.
Photo of spinning cab 270 into the rail. I really like the crowd in the background.

Half cab (cab 180) gab to the down

I'm about to drop in and focusing on what trick I was going to do.

Snow from our living room window. This was when it snowed the most in town while I've been here in New Zealand.

Sasha had this photo in her photos. Some photo she received from the net. It's of Queenstown and the lake; I really like it.
More Random Photos
This first shot is from Coronet Peak. This was right before the Rail Jam event.

Switch Front Board down view from the Snow Park stair set up. This is where I broke my pelvis in two places.

Tim (day crew Manager at Remarks), JP (park designer, boss, and good mate since 03), Karl (Dutty, the One Pop King, and mate since 05), and me. Don't worry sometimes I look like that in photos. This was at the Stash after party.

Front flip off the up log in the Stash on opening day. This shot was in the local Newspaper

Another view of the front 180 melon off the up log

Real quick update on life. I went last week to a town called Invercargille which is 2 hours away to get an x-ray. Everything is line up fine but they still want me to stay off it for another weeks. I'm waling on it now at times but mostly only using one crutch. Still hurts at times mostly just in the mornings waking up. I will put photos of the bruises. I'm starting to get bored. The first few weeks after the injury I just watch movies, TV, DVD's, and another else just to fill the time. I really want to go snowboarding. I even just want to use my energy that has been building up. I saw people playing Rugby and Soccer the other day and just wanted to go play. I felt sorry for myself for a second. That's just how things go at times. I'm getting money from Accident Comprehension Company (ACC for sure but something like that) that pay me my rages while I'm hurt. Physical Theropy(?) is free down here which is awesome. Life is good and I'm happy. I want to be there for the wedding and would love to be there. Sasha is planning on working for an airline so hopefully we'll travel back forth and there again. So then we'll be able to see all of you often. Love for now and ever whoever took the time to read this. See you before you know it. Go do something for someone, it'll make you both happy.
Still haven't figured everything out on my blog site. But I'm going to give it a try. But here are a few pics from Down Under. The first one is after a comp we were heading home and Nick Hyne got this cool night cat shot with his phone. The next one I really like. This was the day I broke my pelvis. It's a Indy grab off a cliff when we hike up at Remarkables. The fourth shot is on the way up. I really like this photo. There are more shots like this coming your way. I'm still trying to gather photos from photographers. The third shot is when I won a comp at Snow Park. That was a very good night.

This last shot is of the lake from Frankton looking down to Queenstown on the right and Kelvin Heights on the left. The views are just amazing here and I promise I will do a better job of putting up photos.

Here are some pics of the terrain park where I work. This was July 26th when the Stash opened up. the first few pics were taken at the Hut. The other two are the up log. Some how on accident there's an old photo before my mission. I will up load more photos and give a better update with what's going on. I need to learn how to change my background, get a playlist, and makes things look good but that time is not now. Love you all, your Jordy
